The Aero Academy consists of 80 percent advanced handling exercises on specially constructed training tracks and 20 percent classroom time. Experience the challenge of the Autocross. Improve your driving skills on the skid pad. Practice accident avoidance in the lane-change exercise.
The Saab Aero Academy is run on a closed course. The instructors are professional drivers.

9-5 SportCombi with Aero Package Enrollment Process 1. When you purchase or lease a car that's eligible for the Saab Aero Academy, Delaware Saab will submit your sales information to Saab Automobile USA.
2. Upon receipt of your sales information, a Saab Aero Academy certificate will be sent to the address on the sales record within 4-6 weeks. Each certificate is individually numbered and tracked.
3. Once you receive the Certificate, you may register to attend the Saab Aero Academy at www.SaabAcademy.com. From the Login Page, please enter your Certificate Number under "Aero Owners" to begin the registration process. You may not register until you have received your Certificate. (If you are a non-Aero owner and would like to attend the Saab Aero Academy, proceed directly to www.SaabAcademy.com. From the Login Page, please click Login under "Non-Aero Owners" to begin the registration process. Enrolling as a "Non-Aero Owner" requires an online payment of $1,350.00 per person to complete a registration.)
At www.SaabAcademy.com, you will be able to select from available Academy sessions and make your hotel reservations at the Chateau Elan Winery and Resort, the Academy's host hotel. Special Academy room rates have been negotiated with the resort to provide savings to participants. Extensions to your hotel stay for the Academy, or additional rooms, may also be made when you register, if the rooms and rates are available. Since the Chateau Elan offers a wide variety of amenities like golf, tennis, swimming and a spa, you may want to include your family members for a mini-vacation.
All hotel charges, airline tickets and car rental fees are the responsibility of the attendee.
Have your Saab Aero Academy Certificate available when registering, as you will need your certificate number to complete your registration.
Once you have enrolled, a confirmation package will be sent to you, including program details and directions to the Chateau Elan Winery and Resort, and Road Atlanta.
When you arrive at the Aero Academy, you must present a valid driver's license. This is a requirement to drive ANY vehicle at the Academy.
Please Note:
Participants will drive Saab models supplied by Saab. Participants may not drive their own vehicles in the Academy.
Depending on conditions, participants may drive on a purpose-built autocross course, skid pad and other track paddock areas where driving exercises are conducted. Driving will not be conducted on Road Atlanta's road course.
Enrollment for one person per each eligible Saab model purchased. Additional guests of Aero owners as well as non-Aero owners can also attend the Saab Aero Academy for a fee of $1,350.00 per person.
